Fees & Rebates

 

Medicare

 

Under the new Medicare initiative rebates of $115.05 per 50 minutes for Clinical Psychologists and $78.40 per 50 minutes for Psychologists are available for people with specified psychological problems (some exclusion criteria apply) and an appropriate referral on a GP Mental Health Care Plan. You can receive up to 12 sessions per year under Medicare.

 

Our fees are currently: $165 for an initial consultation and $155 for subsequent visits. Therefore you will pay a gap of $40 for most visits if you are referred under Medicare.

 

Health Care Card holders are usually charged a discount fee.

Private Health Insurance

 

Most Health Funds offer rebates. Please check with your fund. Health Fund rebates cannot be obtained for the same visit for which a Medicare rebate is obtained.
